Well, there is really not much to tell about me.  I am 30 years old, a 9-1-1 dispatcher and considered anti-social by most people who know me.  I am lethal to house plants and tropical fish and I miss having a dog.(No, I didn't kill the dog.)  I grew up in New Orleans but moved to northeastern Illinois 7 years ago and haven't made good on my escape yet.

I used to have my picture on here but started getting letters from some guy saying he wants me so I decided to take them down.  I don't know if he saw them or not but why take any chances?  If you are curious, I am 5' with auburn hair and green eyes.  Other than that I look just like Cindy Crawford. :)

In my free time I like to make graphics, surf the web and spend time with my boyfriend.  That's not the order I like them but thanks to my crazy hours, that's usually the order they happen in.  I also like to read, cross-stitch and have recently rediscovered crochet.  I think that most television is basically garbage so I am not the couch-potato I used to be.

I have recently discovered online classes, which I think is a great development for people like me who want to learn but don't have traditional work schedules.  I am nearly finished my class on cascading style sheets and have signed up for a javascript class.  Hopefully some of the major teaching institutions will offer this type of schooling in the future so that the internet can truly change and improve the lives of its users.

I should probably add here that I am known for being opinionated, outspoken and rather tactless.  When something ticks me off I tend to say exactly what I am thinking without stopping to think how I should say it.  The good side of that is that I usually calm down pretty quickly and apologize for being such a hothead.  The bad side, of course, is that I do this often.
